説明

Papayton is the result of our breeding project involving our beloved Lemonpaya and two powerhouse genetics: Gary Payton from the Cookies lineup and Gelato from Sherbinskis. This strain was bred to deliver XXXL harvests packed with resin, potency, and flavor. Papayton grows into a balanced, high-performing plant with strong lateral branching that rivals the central cola in both size, bud production and density. Her Christmas tree-like structure makes her ideal for optimizing grow space and boosting total yield potential, but make sure to provide her proper aeration throughout the whole cycle. As flowering progresses, the plant reveals a striking range of leaf colors—from deep green to nearly black—especially under cooler finishing conditions. When dried properly at low temperatures (16–18 °C), the buds retain their signature weight and visual appeal—dense, sticky, and coated in trichomes from top to bottom. The terpene profile that her buds deliver is rich, sweet and overall feels like fruity sherbet ice cream. Papayton adapts to most grow conditions so it's a good candidate to run experiments, DIY grow projects and for those growing in challenging conditions. She responds well to moderate feeding and benefits from substrate flushes at the end of the cycle: it helps her deliver a smoother smoke and enhanced flavor expression. Her resilience, structure, and terpene depth make her a top choice for both indoor home grows and large-scale production runs. With XXXL-sized yields and unmatched stability, this is a true flagship strain from our breeding program.

Question:
Q:
In the description you mention flushing. Should I do it, is it obligatory?
Answer:
A:
It depends on the substrate you're growing in and your feeding practices. Generally speaking, if you don't overfeed and there's no nutrient build-up, you don't need to flush when growing organically in soil. However, a short flush is recommended when using coco or hydroponic systems. Thanks for asking.

Question:
Q:
If it adapts to challenging conditions, does it mean I can grow it indoors during summer?
Answer:
A:
As long as you provide adequate ventilation and air exchange, and temperatures aren’t too extreme (such as temperatures over 50°C or 122°F), which can affect the plant's metabolism and resin quality, then yes, you can grow it indoors during summer.

Question:
Q:
Does the terpene profile lean more toward gary payton, lemonpaya, or sunset sherbet?
Answer:
A:
Thanks for asking. In terms of aroma and flavor, it’s similar to Sunset Sherbet but noticeably fruitier and creamier.

Question:
Q:
how to make the terpenes remain strong after drying?
Answer:
A:
Thanks for asking. If the environmental conditions during the veg and flower stages are optimal and you're still not satisfied with the results, the issue is likely related to the drying and curing process. We recommend drying at 15°C (60°F) with a relative humidity of 58–62% for anywhere from 7 to 21 days, or until a moisture meter reads 10–12% moisture content.

Question:
Q:
It says it can grow to 185cm, how can I control it?
Answer:
A:
Since it's a photoperiod plant (meaning you can let it veg under an 18/6 light cycle indefinitely) you can apply various training techniques such as topping, scrogging, tying down branches, or whatever method you prefer. Just be sure to give the plant enough time to recover before switching to a 12/12 light cycle.
