The goal was to combine that unmistakable Rainbow Chip presence with Melon's brightness, without losing either parent's identity in the process.
What came out of that pairing is a medium-sized, XL-structured plant that finishes in just 8 to 9 weeks. Here's the part we didn't see coming. This project was never initiated to breed a mold-resistant strain; that was never the intent behind the cross. But during testing, Rainbow Melon surprised us.
