Genetic tree

Description

She can be grown indoors or outdoors and withstand all environments thanks to her pedigree genetics. AK Auto is a strain that is very easy to grow, that makes it perfect for beginners. She packs a punch with a THC level of up to 21%. She will grow long dense colas in just 9 weeks with citrus pine flavored buds. Despite her Sativa influence, this girl is a foolproof hybrid for those who need a solid producer with a quick turnaround time, as well as commercial growers.

Bud description

AK Auto has that old school bag appeal that glistens with an eye-catching silver shimmer. The nugs will have an elongated shape that is typical of Sativa strains, where the buds have stacked tightly together meaning a gram looks huge.

Smoke report

Thanks to the Sativa dominance, the effects will be energizing, uplifting, and exhilarating. The high is not too racy and the edge is taken off by a mellowing out body high. Well recommended for being creative, focused, motivated, high energy and alert, or just good company on a night out. This lady is incredible for keeping organized and getting through a long workday, a big to-do list, and the modern-day visionary.

Plant Appearance

Only requiring 63 days from seed to harvest, this autoflowering hybrid has a supremely high resistance to plant disease and produces excellent results in challenging conditions. AK Auto will have long, elongated colas, that stretch the entire length of the branches. This lady grows very homogeneous, so plants can be grown closely together and yields of up to 400-500gr/m2 can be expected.

Grow Tips

As the name suggests, you can keep firing this autoflowering hybrid out multiple times a year, with tremendous results with very little concern of mold or mildew. Growers who live in a wet climate or short summers can benefit from the fast-growing, rich flavors and long-lasting effects of Original Auto AK. Thanks to her short, low profile, we advise planting this strain discreetly as she is easily camouflaged. This lady’s buds will have a compact, pointy characteristic that is hidden with resin extending to the surrounding leaves, so make sure you get the trim bin ready when harvest time comes around!

Flavor

Fans of earthy, floral, and pine terpenes will love this hybrid, as she can be described as a mix of old school earth, with a woody pine tree spice and a touch of lemon citrus. When smoking, the aroma from a burning joint will fill the air with a fragrance of fresh forest, flowers, and lemon.

It grew kinda short
Maybe I should've done some LST or something, but it grew shorter than I expected. The buds have turned out great, but would've liked more height.

Wow! AK stands for Absolutely Krazy
4 of 4 popped got one in a smaller tent doing the same as the 3 in the pic. Day 44: All nutes, water amount and schedules and soil is from same mix in each pot. 2 of the 3 in this tent seem to be similar, while Stretch AKstrong is a good 3 inches taller than her sisters. Still doing ok for AK, but I just can't dial that one in right. Leggy and a little yellowing, oh well, first grow so, I think this is going well. Thank you FastBuds for good genetics, these are already looking delicious and the smell is amazing.

I enjoyed growing out and nice smoke!
She was easy to grow, not that big but I broke a few roots during transplant and stunted her. Super dense buds, vigorous feeder too. On the list to grow again for sure!

Question:
Q:
Beginner here… I started my plant outside. I noticed the plant is getting tall, almost like stretching. Like 2 - 3” between nodes…. Will it hurt to move inside to a tent and how high do i set the lamp
Answer:
A:
Hello, thanks for asking. It won't hurt it but make sure you provide enough light to avoid stressing your plant. The distance depends on the light fixture, please send an email to [email protected] and we'll guide you.

Question:
Q:
I'm about to harvest my beautiful AK. What's the best way to dry it?
Answer:
A:
Hello, thanks for your question! You should dry your buds in a dark room with a relative humidity of around 50% and a temperature of around 18-23.

Question:
Q:
How can I make my buds denser?
Answer:
A:
Hello! To fatten up your buds it's essential you grow under the proper wattage for the number of plants you have and make sure you provide good-quality blooming nutrients. Remember that plants need more phosphorus and potassium when they're flowering.

Question:
Q:
I accidently let the trichomes go about 30% amber. I have heard that that's too much. What will happen to the quality of the flowers?
Answer:
A:
Hello! The quality will be the same but the effect may be more corporal due to the THC degrading into CBN.

Question:
Q:
I tried doing some LST but she grew funny. Not sure what happened.
Answer:
A:
Hello, thanks for your question! We only recommend performing LST after you've gathered a bit of information, even though LST doesn't stress your plants as much as HST, doing it aggressively will stress your plants and they can end up growing shorter and producing less than they should.

Question:
Q:
What's the difference between SOG and SCROG?
Answer:
A:
Hi, thanks for your question! Both of them consist of spreading the canopy to fill your trellis net evenly but in SOG you do it with a lot of smaller plants while in SCROG you should do it with less plants while letting them grow taller.

Question:
Q:
Its' been really hot and some of my leaves have started to get brown patches on them. Should I remove these leaves?
Answer:
A:
Hello! It's not necessary to remove the leaves because they will fall by themselves but you can remove them if you want to.

Question:
Q:
What's the best light schedule to use with this strain?
Answer:
A:
Hi! It depends on what suits you better, you can grow it under an 18/6, 20/4, or 24/0 light cycle. Have in mind that more light results in better yields but your electricity bill will be higher.

Question:
Q:
My Auto AK is quite foxtailed. What causes this?
Answer:
A:
Hello! Foxtailing is usually caused by excessive heat but it's also a characteristic that some genetics have.
