Primary Selection for Gorilla Cookies Auto
Timelapse showing the first selection phase of our Gorilla Cookies Auto, followed by the tent after selection.
All plants in this run are good. The objective of this selection is not to eliminate genetics, but to focus on development timing. In previous runs we consistently selected the biggest and bushiest plants, which resulted in very vigorous and productive individuals, but also pushed flowering time longer.
In this run, the goal is to shorten and stabilize flowering time while still maintaining high vigor and productivity. Plants that move forward are those that show the right balance between structure, growth speed and development rhythm.
At this stage, around 40% of the plants were removed to keep the direction of the line clear and consistent.
This is part of the fine-tuning process once a line is already well established.
